3 BridgeWater Options for Phoenix Assisted Living

Considering assisted living options in Phoenix, Arizona? We have three great ones, all located in the Phoenix area. Each location has a slightly different focus—take a look!

1. Avondale

The newest of our communities, this campus provides assisted living apartments as well as memory care services. Live in luxury in a modern, upscale community with a small-town feel. Our residents enjoy five-star services, without breaking the bank. Not only is our care affordable through a federal tax-credit program, but we also have a dedicated community benefit advocate who can help seniors and their families navigate options to qualify for financial aid.

This location is close to shopping and restaurants, as well as outdoor venues and activities you might enjoy: Are you a NASCAR fan? Because the Phoenix International Raceway is just minutes away. Also nearby are several world-class golf resorts and many national park trails you can wander and enjoy.

2. Deer Valley

This community is an assisted living community and does not include independent living apartments or memory care services. The difference between independent living and assisted living is that assisted living helps with the day-to-day tasks you might have some difficulty with. Independent living does not include that, unless there is maintenance in your home that you would want help with, such as changing a light bulb that is too high for you to reach.

There are four levels of assisted living care you can receive, no matter which assisted living community you decide on. The first level starts with general health monitoring, taking your own medications without supervision, and being independent throughout your daily activities. Of course, there are still clinical oversight and healthcare evaluations as required by Arizona State Licensing, but overall, it won’t be much different than an independent living situation. Then the levels get more involved as to daily activities until at level four, where your care team will provide daily assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.

3. Midtown Phoenix

The Midtown location is home to both assisted living and memory care apartments. The interior of this beautiful building has been curated with local art and fine furnishings. You will feel right at home in this stunning seven-story community.

Our memory care includes the same care as with assisted living, with the addition of orientation and redirection as needed and assistance with meals and activities. Healthcare evaluations, service planning, and health monitoring are all provided as required by Arizona State Licensing. We make sure our care is focused on the resident on an individual basis since everyone’s experience with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia can be a little different. Staff members are all experienced, well-trained, and compassionate, to give you the best possible care.

Ask us for details about the Equilibrium program as well. This activities program helps to stimulate your brain with a proactive approach. A combination of art, music, mindfulness, and cognitive therapies will keep you engaged, active, and happy and can slow degenerative brain diseases that affect the mind.
