Veteran’s Assistance

It is our heartfelt honor and privilege that we have the opportunity to serve those who served us.

At BridgeWater Assisted Living, we appreciate the brave men and women who made it their mission to serve our country. It is our heartfelt honor and privilege that we have the opportunity to serve those who served us. Many senior Veterans may be able to pay for assisted living expenses through their (VA) Pension Benefits. We’re here to help, every step of the way.

Our Community Benefits Advocate can assist you with additional resources: simply call 602-281-9535.

For more detailed information on Veteran pension benefits, programs, and qualifications and how to apply for the Veteran’s pension, visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website or call 1-800-827-1000. You can also write to the Pension Management Center that serves your state, or visit your local regional benefit office to file your request.

There are many VA-accredited representatives and Veterans Service Organizations, agents and attorneys who are available to help you file a VA pension claim free of charge. The VA encourages you to be cautious of potential scams: beware of representatives who want to move your assets around, misrepresent your situation, or charge you a fee for filing the free application. You can search the VA Office of General Counsel website to locate an accredited representative

Veterans or their surviving spouses who do not have the financial resources to pay for the daily care they need may qualify for special financial assistance. This program is made available by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Aid and Attendance Pension benefit.
