Before you move in, you’ll have a conversation with one of our licensed nurses to determine what needs you may have and develop a personal care plan. During this conversation, we’ll learn your care needs, interests, and personal history to give us a better picture of how we can best assist you. We know that each plan isn’t one-size-fits-all, so this will help us understand your preferences and the level of assistance you require.
It may be difficult for introverted residents to have this conversation, but rest assured, we’ll cover that too. There’s no obligation to join in social time, but we’ll always invite you.

2. Amenities Galore

Moving into a senior-appropriate apartment means that you’ll see handy devices to help with your day-to-day living. For instance, if you’re coming to stay with us due to memory problems, we have a state-of-the-art secure environment to make sure you don’t wander away, which could be dangerous if you don’t know your way back.
You’ll also see grab bars in the showers if you need some help with balance and emergency response pull cords. Of course, when you’re in assisted living or memory care you may also take advantage of our complete line of care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, medication management, mobility, and meals and activities.
Some of our apartments include kitchenettes, so if preparing your own meals and keeping your favorite snacks on hand is important to you, you’ll be able to do just that. However, we’d also like to point out our restaurant-style dining in case you’d prefer us to do the cooking.
You’ll never be bored living at the Mission at Agua Fria. We have a full calendar of cultural and recreational programs, social events, and excursions. If you feel the need to run some errands, we can help with transportation.
