We also offer programs for our memory care residents that contribute to their overall wellbeing—from art and sensory integration to music and pet therapy to a first-class exercise program. Our program is quite revolutionary, as we provide care that emphasizes the entire person: body, mind, and soul, based on an approach called Gentlecare developed by Moyra Jones.
Our memory care community is featured on the ground floor and consists of two connected neighborhoods. Each one has two activity rooms off of a lobby, an open lounge, a dining room, and a nurse’s station. The two neighborhoods share a central gathering room that leads out into an enclosed outdoor courtyard that residents can safely enjoy. Our neighborhoods also encourage interactions amongst the residents of our community.
A professionally trained director is in charge of our memory care programs. Not only does this director coordinate with the nursing department, but they also keep each family informed of their loved one’s progress. The family will have access to the staff’s knowledge of their family member’s condition and care plan.

Before entering into either type of care, a licensed nurse completes an assessment to evaluate each resident’s needs and come up with an appropriate personal care plan. In our memory care unit specifically, we understand that dementia and Alzheimer’s affect the entire family. Because of this, we want to make sure your family is comfortable with your loved one’s personalized care and that we’re all on the same page.
Both assisted living and memory care residents experience restaurant-style dining that features three nutritious chef-prepared meals served daily. Our care staff is available 24 hours a day, and all residents receive assistance with daily tasks they can no longer perform alone. These might include help with dressing, continence, mobility, bathing, or meal or activity assistance. Our staff is here to make sure your family member gets to enjoy all those things to the best of their ability (and remains healthy while doing so).
Modern and Accessible Apartments
All of our apartments have a bathroom with plenty of room, a shower that has grab bars and the ability to walk or wheel in, and an emergency response cord. There’s also ample closet space. All apartments are safe and secure. In our assisted living community, there’s a choice of private one-bedroom apartments that have four different floorplans. In our memory care community, there is a choice of private or semi-private studio apartments.
