3 Reasons to Love Living in Deer Valley

Our mission at BridgeWater Assisted Living is to provide an income-qualified housing option that’s upscale and modern and hosts state-of-the-art technology. We serve our community by providing affordable, comfortable housing for older adults where they can feel cherished and experience better health and safety outcomes. The result is a better quality of life for our residents and their loved ones.

BridgeWater Assisted Living has several locations, one of which is located in Deer Valley, Arizona. Here are three reasons to be excited about Deer Valley living.

A Welcoming Area

Deer Valley is a cozy neighborhood community, one of 15 urban villages that make up Phoenix, Arizona. Conveniently located near the Phoenix Deer Valley Towne Center, residents can take advantage of living near excellent restaurants, shopping, places of worship, and healthcare providers.

There are several outdoor spaces in the area that are popular hiking spots: Deem Hills and Cave Buttes stand out here. Parks abound, good for walking and getting some vitamin D. Adobe Dam Regional Park includes Adobe Mountain Train Museum and the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix waterpark (what a great spot to spend the day with your family!).

Activities—In and Out

BridgeWater Assisted Living invests in a resident-focused approach with a variety of activities and events to keep residents as busy as they want to be. Enjoy meeting with friends and playing games in our common areas. Sign up for an art class to explore your creative side or spend solitary time enjoying a book in the library.

Shopping trips and other outings are regularly scheduled, so you can get some time out in the world. You’re free to drive yourself anywhere you’d like to go. Transportation can also be arranged if you’d rather leave your car behind or if you don’t want to worry about parking. There’s always happy hour to go to as well! At mealtime, you can enjoy chef-prepared meals in the community dining room or feel free to cook your own meals and dine in your apartment. Family and friends are welcome to join you for either.

Stay Engaged

If you want to make a difference in the wider world outside, there are a plethora of community events, philanthropic projects, and civic affairs to engage in. We’re creating opportunities for residents to connect with each other and the world around Deer Valley. Here, you can focus on the things that matter the most to you, whether it’s a cause, a foundation, or an organization.

You can also enjoy a night on the town, out at the theater when there’s a play running, or maybe there’s a museum day trip you’ll want to sign up for. Check out any of the many golf courses around town—we’re sure you’ll find a favorite. Our residents are as independent as they want to be and stay as busy as they like.
