We are proud to offer excellence in senior housing that is equipped to handle whichever level of care needed. Within our community, we have 59 studio and one-bedroom assisted living apartments and 30 memory care studios. Our assisted living and memory care communities do vary, as we tailor each to the needs of our residents. Because of this, what to expect when you live in one of the Mission at Agua Fria apartments changes depending on what level of care you need.
Assisted Living
When living in assisted living at the Mission at Agua Fria, we make sure you’re provided with the correct amount of assistance you need. We don’t want to take your independence away, but we want to make sure you’re safe at all times. Prior to moving into your new apartment, one of our licensed nurses will complete an assessment with you. This will help determine your needs and help create your personal care plan. In addition to learning your medical history and care needs, we also take note of any interests you have and any preferences to make sure that you are given the assistance and the comfort that you need.
The Mission at Agua Fria apartments in our assisted living community are modern, upscale, comfortable, safe, and secure. Our apartments are private, and we offer our residents the choice of four different floorplans for one-bedroom apartments. Some of these even have kitchenettes included for those residents who would still like to cook. Regardless of the floorplan you choose, every apartment has ample closet space and a spacious bathroom that includes a walk- or wheel-in shower that has grab bars. Emergency-response pull cords and an emergency pendant are also found in each room.
Memory Care
Our memory care community allows residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia to live in a safe and secure environment. This neighborhood is located on the ground floor of the Mission at Agua Fria building. It’s more than just the residents’ apartments—it includes an activity room, a dedicated nurse’s station, an open lounge, a dining room, and a large central gathering room. This has access to an enclosed outdoor courtyard so residents can go outside and enjoy the sunny weather.
All the apartments here are private studio apartments that are spacious, safe, comfortable, and ADA accessible. They include good closet space and large bathrooms that have walk- or wheel-in showers with grab bars and emergency-response pull cords.
